Headquartered in the USA, they are at the forefront of technology for a growing range of minimally invasive surgical and associated products, as well as orthopaedic procedures. They have two divisions and foster an inclusive and dynamic environment. In Australia, Head Office is in Sydney.     

The Role:

This position is one of two Product Specialists in the Advanced Surgical Division in Queensland and is to sell to operating theatres in public and private hospitals across the north half of Brisbane, with some country travel. You will promote the following products:

• Smoke evacuation system
• Electrosurgical generators
• Suction irrigation
• Uterine manipulation
• Pencils and electrodes

Responsibilities include the following:

• Promote products and services to customers located within a defined geographical territory
• Establish effective relationships with decision makers and decision influencers
• Achieve sales targets for product portfolio
• Effectively manage territory coverage
• Determine sales strategies for key accounts
• Implement agreed sales strategies
• Support operating theatre cases (there is no on-call work).

Your Background:

For this medical sales role, we are looking for a candidate with:

• Positive, energetic attitude
• Clinical/nursing, allied health, science, operating theatre nursing, or equivalent qualification
• Pharmaceutical sales reps will also be considered
• Energy, resilience and the drive to succeed.

Salary Package:

• Attractive base salary
• 11.5% superannuation
• $22k car allowance
• $25k on-target incentives, with more for over-target performance.
